To draw attention to the cental image of this yellow truck several steps were taken in Photoshop.
Using two different images and making changes to each layer can give a painterly affect to most any photograph. The ideas used in making this image are easily applied to creating others.

Are your rechargeable batteries not working like they used to?
Try this:
With fine sand paper lightly sand both contact sides of the batteries
then wipe clean. This worked like a charm on mine.

It was taken last year the day before my portfolio was due for Geoffrey Gorman's portfolio class.
I stayed up half the night printing the storm series I took that evening so I could present it to the class the next day.
You know how some music just hits you some where between the solar plexis and the heart? Storms do the same thing to me.
This one smiled for the camera.
